Phase 1

Kick-off workshops

We ran multiple UX workshops with a multidisciplinary team to create a deeper understanding of the virtual environment and initial needs regarding its market, users, and broader strategy. We support this process with our well-structured templates, architectural & digital design methods, and frameworks.

Phase 2

Discovery

We searched various VR environments in the context of physical and mental healthcare.  We dive into to clarify the main needs in the transition from the physical world to the VR environment. We conducted interview sessions with the target (potential) user groups. The main aim of this phase is to collect the initial insight which is driving the problems and get a better sense of the overall context of the user journey.

We learned about the direct and indirect competitors of the project and supported this process with a comprehensive competitive audit.  

Based on the interviews, audits, and solid research, we completed the main user experience and journey. This allowed us to identify and prioritize the content of the tool and create an achievable roadmap for the project.

Phase 3

Wireframing & Prototyping & Iterating

Our multidisciplinary team created initial VR interfaces while gathering inspiration. We linked the prototype and tested it with the user groups to refine the iterations on the main experience flow and the content of the tool in detail. Then we iterated this on a weekly basis and finalized this phase through feedback and additional technical research.

Phase 4

Low Fidelity & User Testing

As the weeks passed, all problems were tackled one by one. In the final weeks, the prototype with low fidelity interfaces was designed to adhere to newly created branding guidelines and tested with users.

Finally, we iterated the last version of the VR environment and app design after a few rounds of feedback and applied the final revisions to the VR interfaces.

Phase 5

Final Submission

Ozverse VR environment model and app provide a unique experience through an adventurous approach. Users can customize their VR home space and pick up their running path after receiving recommendations from their special VR coach. We exported and shared the final design deliverables which have all the specs and are ready to implement at the end of the UX design process. These deliverables included all the VR ınterface designs, different states, and edge cases. We also created a UI kit, a 3D model of the environment with clear guidelines and rules that help to keep consistency when implementing the product.
